Who We Are?

Atal Community Innovation Centre (ACIC) has been conceptualized to bring to focus the unserved and underserved regions in India in terms of idea generation, promotion of innovations and innovators at grassroots level. ACICs will drive innovations catering to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by specifically harnessing and nurturing novel solutions for upliftment and sustainable transformation of the community and country at large.

What We Do?

Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog is Government of India’s flagship initiative to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the country and was set up in 2016. Towards this end, AIM has taken a holistic approach to ensure creation of a problem-solving innovative mindset in schools and creating an ecosystem of entrepreneurship in universities, research institutions, private and MSME sector.



Atal Community Innovation Centre - Vivekananda Global University Foundation (ACIC-VGU Foundation) supported by AIM (Atal Innovation Mission), Niti Aayog envisages to build and nurture the community in the state of Rajasthan including its Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities with respect to the startup and innovation ecosystem for the sector of design & craft, handicrafts, lifestyle, fashion, and agriculture. The objective of the ACIC-VGU Foundation is to reach the innovators at the bottom of the pyramid and give them equitable opportunities, especially by reducing the lab to land distance and creating a space for pre-incubation of ideas & solutions. With the state-of-art labs, equipment, mentorship, handholding support, funding opportunities, and co-working space, ACIC-VGU Foundation is here to create the upcoming Unicorns from Rajasthan.


Physical Facilities:

Furnished office space- coworking and cabin options are available;
personal computers (CYOD), telecom facility, internet connectivity,
multi-function printer, conference room equipped with projection
and tele-presence facilities along with pantry and library resources.

Technical Support:

Helps innovators/startups in the areas of legal services including - IP Protection, patent filing, registration of trademarks, and copyrights etc. along with support in accounting and company secretarial services.

Tinkering Space:

Facilitates the innovators/startups to use Tinkering and Maker Spaces available on ACIC VGU campus to develop their prototypes and products.

Labs & Workshops:

Facilitates the incubatee innovators/startups to access the laboratories
and other resources of the university for their development purposes. Incubatees can perform development-related activities at the

Experts & Mentors:

Facilitates access to experts and mentors from various functional
domains and diverse industries. This is to enable the innovators/
startups to seek inputs and advice on their ventures and the challenges being faced.

Fund Raising:

Facilitates applications for grants from government bodies or corporate venture entities. May also consider providing grant, seed fund/ soft loan subject to the availability of funds/ grants/ schemes meant for the same.
